RON LEVINSON
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Whether it be bringing the "Pink Panther" to life in a bustling South Korean animation studio or protecting mankind from alien annihilation in Gene Roddenberry's "Earth: Final Conflict," Ron's diverse media accomplishments are impressive.

As Vice President of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Television, Ron was instrumental in overseeing dozens of successful series and movies.  These productions garnered 21 Emmy Awards (70 nominations), 3 NAACP Image Awards (12 nominations), 4 Golden Globe Awards (10 nominations), 3 Humanitas Awards (5 nominations), 2 Peabody Awards and over 40 additional national and international awards.  "thirtysomething" (ABC), "In The Heat of the Night" (NBC / CBS), "Nightmare Cafò" (NBC), "Baby Boom" (NBC), and "The Dirty Dozen" (FBC) are just a handful of the series produced during Ron's tenure at MGM.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Ron produced the acclaimed NBC movie "In the Arms of a Killer" starring Jaclyn Smith, Michael Nouri and "West Wing's" John Spencer; and wrote multiple episodes of the "Pink Panther" TV series.

As special liaison to the Chairman, Ron was responsible for coordinating MGM's expansion into new technologies such as high definition video, interactive media, computerized animation & effects, high speed satellite transmission, etc.

Capitalizing on his success at MGM, Ron transitioned to Tribune (owner of 26 TV stations, 12 market-leading newspapers, and the Chicago Cubs), where he facilitated growing the Fortune 500 company's production presence into the scripted television arena.  While at Tribune, he developed and oversaw the highest rated first-run syndicated series of the year.

In the commercial and corporate worlds, Ron served as Executive Vice President of Television Corporation of America, where he managed all business and creative aspects of the film and television production company, plus produced and directed hundreds of commercial, corporate and documentary projects.  TCA's client base included AT&T, Budweiser, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, MasterCard, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Seven-Up and Purina Puppy Chow.

Well traveled with industry contacts around the world, Ron is a graduate of the University of Southern California film school, a Blue Ribbon Emmy Judge and distinguished member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, member of the Writers Guild of Canada, and past board member of the United States Air Force Public Advisory Counsel (where he counseled the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force on motion picture and television production).  Perhaps most important however, is the fact that Ron is an avid Cardinals and Blues fan.
