MICHAEL MELTZER
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER - EAST COAST

An accomplished feature film producer, Michael Meltzer has mastered the art and the business of filmmaking.  Prior to joining M Creative Group, Meltzer developed and produced numerous movies for literally every major film studio.

Early on in his career, Meltzer was Vice President of Creative Affairs for Robert Cooper Films, where he executive produced the motion picture "Utilities" starring Robert Hays.  During this time he also developed a dramatic film with Robert Redford, which he set up at Warner Brothers Studios.

Following his stint at Robert Cooper Films, Meltzer struck out on his own as an independent producer and immediately set up the movie "Up the Creek", which starred Tim Matheson and Stephen Furst and was released by Orion Pictures.  His next producing credit was the cult classic "The Hidden" for New Line Cinema.  The project led to a sequel and then a Television Series in development for New Line Cinema.  His next produced feature film was "Dead Heat" starring Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo.  Meltzer is also a producer on "Tomorrow's Child" at Universal Studios in partnership with producer Gary Foster ("Sleepless in Seattle") to be written by Ron Bass ("Rainman").

In the world of broadcast television, Meltzer developed and produced the made-for-TV film "Caught In The Act" for USA Network and Universal Television.

With 12 feature films and a TV Movie under his belt, and having worked with such celebrities as Academy Award winning actress Hillary Swank, Vincent Price, and Kyle MacLachlan, Meltzer is a force to be reckoned with.

In addition to his work with M Creative Group, Meltzer also runs a successful talent management company representing actors and writers.

Meltzer counts among his accomplishments, the distinct honor of membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
