CHUCK FASSERT
MUSIC VIDEOS EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Chuck Fassert's music career reads like a who's who of rock n' roll, rhythm and blues, and rap/hip-hop history.  Having amassed twenty-five gold and platinum albums as well as a Grammy, his musical life spans the spectrum of successful singer/songwriter, record company owner, and promotional marketing executive for a variety of major labels.

His career began with writing and performing the #1 classic "Barbara Ann." Realizing early on that recording careers can be short-lived roller coaster rides, Chuck transformed himself into a sales & marketing whiz at ABC/Dunhill Records where he was responsible for many of the chart topping hits by such groups as The Mamas and Papas, Steppenwolf, Isaac Hayes, Jim Croce, Three Dog Night, Chaka Khan, Bobby Bland, and B.B. King.

Chuck then went on to become VP of National Sales, Marketing, & Promotion for Invictus Records and Hot Wax Records.  During this time he furthered the careers of such artists as Freda Payne, Chairman of the Board, The Honey Cones, Eight Day, and 100% Proof.

Following this, he became the VP of National Sales & Marketing for Sussex Records.  It was here that he broke such acts as Bill Withers, Dennis Coffee, Wadsworth Mansion, and Gallery.

Chuck then ventured out on his own, forming Beverly Glen Records.  From its inception it was a chart-topping success with his discovery of Anita Baker and the signing of Bobby Womack.  With Baker's jazz success (as well as Pop and R&B) Fassert was determined to pursue the jazz market further.  This pursuit resulted in top five albums for Ronnie Laws, The Jazz Crusaders, Wilton Felder, and Wayne Henderson.

Looking for a new direction, Chuck then catapulted to the forefront of the Rap and Hip-Hop explosion as VP of National Marketing & Sales for Macola Records.  Here he handled the debuts and successes of numerous ground breaking acts such as N.W.A., Eazy-E, Ice-Cube, Dr. Dre, Yella, Comptons Most Wanted, Timex Social Club, The Wreckin' Kru, Tony! Toni! Tone! and the debut single of MC Hammer.

Most recently, the multi-faceted Fassert has served as a consultant to Major Broadcast Music, Inc., and was also President of Third Level Records and DownLow Music, Inc.

Currently, Mr. Fassert is working with M Creative Group where we affectionately refer to him as our king of music... or simply "Good King Chuck."
